Halfway through the second game of  ‘Super Sunday’ we had to close off half of the Football Transfer Tavern.

When Samuel Eto’o – or Eth’ree as he has been nicknamed by the Chelsea customers – completed his hat-trick, a Manchester United customer just completely lost his marbles.

The bloke started rocking back and forth on his chair, muttering: “David Moyes, why? Moyes, why? David haha”

It was a concerning, and slightly scary moment, so we ushered everyone to the other side of the tavern and called the medical services.

This season is really taking its toll on the Red Devils, who are so used to success or, at the very least, challenging for every single competition.

In fact, just last week, we had a United customer come running in, crying tears of joy, saying: “HE’S BACK! I’ve just seen him. Fergie is back.”

Ahh, sorry mate, I don’t think he is…
