This summer has been a long one for Tottenham so far. The fans have been left in limbo over signings and whilst it looks like they’re closing in on Jack Grealish, other signings look miles away from completion. According to L’Equipe, the Lillywhites are in talks with Bordeaux winger, Malcom, but are yet to formulate an offer.

The Brazilian winger has been one of the most talked about players this summer. Inter Milan, Roma, Everton, Valencia and Leicester City are all reportedly interested in the player and whilst Spurs are one of the frontrunners, the way they’ve gone about their business this summer hasn’t filled many fans with confidence. It’s no shock that Spurs are after the 21-year-old, the club are after a winger and the young Brazilian fits the mould.
If Mauricio Pochettino and co do get the deal for Malcom complete, he will be the second Brazilian winger to join the club from the Ligue 1 this year, after Lucas Moura joined the club from PSG back in January. The added depth on the wing would be so important for Poch as he targets some silverware this season to silence his critics. However, winning a trophy will be tough if he can’t bring in the players he needs.

Given Tottenham’s slow summer, it’s not come as a shock that an offer is yet to be tabled for malcom, and the fans are keen to just get his name out of the papers at this rate.
