Plenty of Liverpool fans reacted in delight as manager Jurgen Klopp announced the team that would face off against Manchester City today.
The Reds will have the chance to go top of the Premier League after the first eight games of the season, despite their shocking 7-2 defeat against Aston Villa before the last international break.

Klopp opted to go with four attackers, with Roberto Firmino dropping to the tip of midfield and Diogo Jota featuring as part of the front three. (via the club’s official Twitter account).
The Portuguese winger, who joined from Wolves for £41m in the summer, has the chance to write himself in the Anfield record books. The 23-year-old could be the first player to score back-to-back hat-tricks for Liverpool in 74 years after his triple-strike against Atalanta in midweek.
