Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really looking forward to the new season but they’d surely like a new manager before too long.
Indeed, the men from Elland Road still haven’t got their act together since Garry Monk’s departure and it really is starting to test the patience of the club’s fans.
Certainly, there is no real inkling as to who is going to come in at the moment and our landlord reckons that if the club doesn’t get something sorted soon, they’ll begin to fall behind other clubs in the transfer market.
Indeed, as per Phil Hay pre-season is going to begin in a fortnight and fans still aren’t sure of what’s happening – leaving many to voice their views on Twitter.
Here, then, is the best of what was said:

Any reason the backroom staff contracts ran longer than Monk’s? Or same length deals that started later??

They just arrived later, I think.

We still have @pepclotet and @1jamesbeattie which could be a decent number 1 and number 2…

Beattie is following Monk to ‘Boro by all accounts.

Hope Chris Wood gets a break. Poor lad is on international duty.
