‘Such a relief’ - Many Chelsea fans are saying the same thing after club announcement

New kit launches always get a lot of fans talking, but Chelsea’s latest announcement on the matter has generated extra cause for debate. Fans have been left waiting longer than usual for the current round of kits, and whilst they’ve been aware of the home kit for a while, the away iteration has up until this point remained under wraps.

That has now changed, though, with the Blues confirming it on their official Twitter page on Friday. It’s a yellow number donned with intricate detailing throughout, whilst a characteristic blue trim serves the purpose of reaffirming the club’s preferred colour.

However, the kit isn’t what is generating the most discussion online. Indeed, instead, it’s one of the players that has been pictured wearing it.

Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Spain over the last few days, and given the lure that the European giants abroad often have, there has been a real sense of concern over the matter.

The Belgian, though, has been included in Chelsea’s kit launch and features in the images wearing it, leading fans to conclude that he will be staying at the club.

Whether that’s the case or not remains to be seen, but it appears as though supporters are clinging on to the prospect.
