The Transfer Tavern‘s EFL spy reckons that Cohen Bramall is a face that Sunderland should investigate bringing to the Stadium of Light this window.
Having released Callum McFadzean at the end of last season, Lee Johnson is going to need to bring in another left-back to compete with Denver Hume for the first-choice spot.

Cohen, who was once described as having lightning pace by Harry Redknapp during their time together at Birmingham, was playing in League Two at the beginning of last season before joining Lincoln for Colchester in January.
The 25-year-old, who was famously signed by Arsenal when playing in Non-League, quickly became a regular at Sincil Bank, although he lost his place towards the end of the campaign and didn’t play a single minute in their three play-off matches.

However, given his impressive form earlier in the year, which saw him appear 18 times in League One, the EFL insider thinks that Bramall is a player that Johnson should be looking at adding to his Sunderland squad.
He exclusively told The Transfer Tavern:
“They should be looking at Bramall who is rapid and had a good season with Lincoln.”
