Lots of Sunderland fans have been destroying Will Grigg after his very poor display at the Stadium of Light versus AFC Wimbledon last night.
Even though Lee Johnson’s team were left without a large number of first team players available for the clash, the Black Cats managed to still draw the game 1-1, but that did not stop several SAFC supporters from digging into the performance of Grigg on the night.
Should Sunderland sell Grigg?
The Northern Ireland international won none of his six duels in the match, and also failed to record a single successful dribble and only managed a mere 15 touches in the whole game (Sofascore).
Yet to break his goal scoring duck so far from 11 appearances now in all competitions in the 2020/21 term, the Sunderland faithful are really starting to lose their patience with him.
Sunderland fan reaction to Grigg display
These Black Cats destroyed him on Twitter after watching the match, with one SAFC fan even claiming that the 29 year-old striker is a ‘fraud’:
Aye Grigg is a fraud living off a song for years

Grigg has been at rock bottom the whole time he has been at the club. He is a disgrace. Not interested at all.

Surely everyone agrees that Will Grigg is finished at #SAFC now?
Looks as disinterested now as when he first arrived. I’ve seen nothing in 2 years to suggest he’s going to score 15+ goals in a season.
He’s one of the worst signings in our history. An absolute panic buy #SAFC

Waste of a shirt. Rather play a lad from the academy than him.

Grigg shouldn’t have started for me. If Curry hadn’t played yesterday I would have started him. Grigg offers absolutely zilch.
