Sunderland: Black Cats fans react to Charlie Wyke fitness update

Sunderland take on Bristol Rovers tonight as the Sky Bet League One promotion race continues at a pace.

Earlier this season, the Gas would have felt as though they were well in contention themselves to get promoted under Graham Coughlan, but things have fallen apart badly there.

Indeed, Ben Garner is now in charge and Rovers have slumped down the table, losing to lowly Southend United at the weekend.

However, whenever Sunderland are in town it’s a big moment and, therefore, the Black Cats will need to be ready for a response from Rovers.

The Wearsiders, though, are also looking to get a response out after conceding late to Gillingham at the weekend and, with the League One promotion race as tight as it gets right now, every point really does matter.
