Rangers fans here in the Tavern are hoping that their side can earn all three points today, as they’ve failed to win in their last three Scottish Premiership matches.
The Bluenoses have had a season to remember under Graeme Murty with European football in their sights, but they’re currently struggling for form after taking just one point from their last three Scottish Premiership matches. Indeed, the Gers fought back from 2-0 down to secure a draw in last weekend’s game against Motherwell at Fir Park, with many of our local residents less than pleased with Rangers’ recent defensive displays.
Although, Graeme Murty’s men welcome Dundee to Ibrox in today’s Scottish Premier League encounter, with the Dark Blues looking to take all three points back to Dens Park after a draw last time out. Although, Murty will have other ideas as he’ll look to put out his strongest side for the encounter, with a number of stars possibly getting a chance in the starting XI.
Therefore, here’s a look at TWO Rangers stars that Graeme Murty should give a chance to today…
Sean Goss
Sean Goss has been one of the standout performers in the current campaign but lost out on a place in the side last time out, with Graham Dorrans replacing him in the starting lineup.
Indeed, the 22-year-old star has been influential in the middle of the park for the Bluenoses, as the midfield barrier that often snuffs out attacks and looks to play passes in behind.
Therefore, Murty should look to give him a chance in the starting XI later on today against Dundee, after being unlucky to miss out on a place in the side last time out after producing an incredible campaign thus far.
Jason Cummings
Jason Cummings has found it tough to break into the side so far this season as Alfredo Morelos continues to lead the line, with the Scotsman often coming on as a substitute or being saved for cup competitions.
Indeed, the 22-year-old has certainly shown that he can find the back of the net in the current campaign with a hat-trick in the Scottish Cup against Falkirk, but has been used as a rotation player in the Scottish Premiership.
Therefore, Murty should give Jason Cummings a chance later on today against Dundee, as Morelos has failed to score in his last three league matches, so could benefit from some time out of the side.
