It’s been a tale of two seasons for Chelsea and Man City. Whilst the Citizens have dominated the English top flight, Chelsea have been comparatively poor.

Antonio Conte’s men, despite a fantastic year last season, never really got started this season, and before they knew it, their Premier League title defence was nothing more than a failed attempt at repeating past glories.

In truth, it’s been a poor campaign for most of Chelsea’s players, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they aren’t good enough.

Man City will have to have a very productive few months this summer, as it’s fair to say that their English rivals will be going all out to topple them next season.

Bringing in a few new faces, then, is just what they need – and perhaps they could look to take advantage of Chelsea’s struggles.

The Blues, particularly in they don’t finish in the top-four, could face somewhat of an exodus, with a few players unlikely to be happy to play for another year without Champions League football. Man City should try and move in if there is any suggestion of a few wantaway players.

With that said, Man City should try and steal these 2 Chelsea players this summer…

 Andreas Christensen

Andreas Christensen wasn’t at Stamford Bridge the last time Chelsea failed to qualify for the top-four, but he’s clearly too good to be playing in the Europa League.

For Man City, he’s arguably the most Guardiola-esque player at Stamford Bridge.

A fantastic passer of the ball, he’d be at home in the heart of the Citizens’ defence, particularly in a five-man defensive line.

He’s young, technically gifted and raw – making him the perfect player for Guardiola to help develop.

 Eden Hazard

Another obvious one.

Eden Hazard is the poster boy for Chelsea, and he’s arguably one of the few players at Stamford Bridge that should really be playing for a bigger club.

The big teams in Spain could come calling, but can you imagine how good he would be under Pep Guardiola?

A fantastically gifted attacking midfielder, the Belgian would dazzle alongside the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero.
