Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be expecting the club to sort out their new manager quickly and will be encouraged with some of the news being reported about the situation.
It looks increasingly likely that Marcelo Bielsa will replace Paul Heckingbottom as the Whites’ 11th manager in just five years, in what many would consider a huge coup for the club. The Elland Road outfit used to be able to attract huge names in the past, however, many of the locals in the bar would have felt that those days were long gone.
According to Phil Hay, who is the chief football journalist for the Yorkshire Evening Post, a deal does still have it’s obstacles to being completed, although the money does not seem to be a factor.

It is thought the Argentine is happy with the package being offered by Leeds, however, it is believed the two parties are still negotiating over plans, infrastructure and the way he wants the club to function under him.

The possibility of Bielsa arriving at Elland Road looks to be closing in which would delight the locals in the Tavern. The Leeds fans will want the managerial chase to end as quickly as possible to give their side the best possible chance of trying to compete for a Premier League spot next season, whilst the new manager will want to have a sufficient amount of time with his players and see where he feels he needs to improve the squad.
