Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are very excited over what Garry Monk is going to do for their club as long as he signs an extension to stay at Elland Road.
The Whites have had a progressive season under Monk – even if it didn’t end with a play-off place – and the hope is that he can guide them to promotion next season.
The ex-Swansea man should be able to do that, too, but first of all he needs to put pen to paper in the coming weeks.
Fans, then, are eager for any news on the subject that they can garner and were certainly quick to react when a fan took a picture with Monk recently on an evening out.
