The end of season run in heightens tensions between fans and here in the Transfer Tavern the race for the top four has got Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool supporters at one another’s throats.
The three aforementioned teams, and Manchester City, appear to be the most likely outfits to finish behind Chelsea and Spurs in the battle for Champions League qualification and with being at Europe’s top table now such a massive thing in modern football, missing out could be huge.
Liverpool kept their charge for one of the positions going with a weekend win at Stoke, but Man United and Arsenal could both draw level on points with them if they win their games in hand (the Red Devils have two to play while the Gunners have three), so the battle is nowhere near being decided.
