You can understand why that’s the case, too, with the Blues bouncing back emphatically from their terrible 2015/16 form to now lead the Premier League by ten points.
It’s a lead that was boosted by beating West Ham last night and as they scored their second goal in their 2-1 win at the London Stadium, you could just see how much it meant to Antonio Conte.
The passionate Italian has made his feelings clear on more than one occasion this season and the job he has done this year cannot be praised enough.
Indeed, he’s got his players playing and has found a system that no-one can match at the moment – truly in stark contrast to the doomed final months of Jose Mourinho’s second tenure at the club.
