Six one. That could well be a football score between Liverpool and Arsenal that gets us talking here in the Football Transfer Tavern but for once, it is a viral image that has thrown up those numbers.

We think that the loyalty shown by Steven Gerrard to Liverpool is a massive statement and is certainly something the Gunners should try to instil – not that either club can boast a great record in keeping their star men at the club.
