Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern have had a very good time enjoying their club playing this season with the turn of the year really seeing them step up under Ronald Koeman.
Indeed, whilst they were going well enough in the first half of the campaign the Toffees have found another level in this second half as they continue to threaten to break into the top six.
Certainly, both Koeman and his players need to be credited for their upturn in performance and one man in particular deserves praise – Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian striker has been in superb form this season for the men from Goodison Park with him leading the way in the race for the Golden Boot.
And it’s his 2017 form that has really caught the eye – as per this stat via OptaJoe on Twitter:

Great form, then, and Everton fans will be keen to see it continue.
