There’s nothing that the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern love more than seeing a young player make it into the first team. All those years ago, Steven Gerrard did it – and he’s now gone down as a legend at Anfield.
The Reds have a rich history of bringing through some incredible young talents, and this season has seen the emergence of one of the best yet. Young Trent Alexander-Arnold has been a breakout star at Anfield this term, with a flurry of excellent performances, particularly in Europe, earning rave reviews in the Transfer Tavern.
He certainly deserves a lot of credit, but his rise also highlights just how much talent is currently brewing within the Liverpool academy.
There are a handful of incredibly talented youngsters that are on the verge of being incredible footballers, and so next season, perhaps it would be wise for the Reds to give a few of them a chance.
With that said, Liverpool must get these 2 wonderkids in the first team next season…
Sheyi Ojo

Sheyi Ojo has spent the season on-loan at Fulham, and he has really shown what he can do.
The Cottagers have looked good in the Championship, and with 22 appearances for the club, he’s been a relatively important part of the team.
He’s not the finished article yet, but with brilliant technical ability and a decent goalscoring record, he could truly become a star at Anfield.
Rhian Brewster

Everyone knows how good Rhian Brewster is.
He was the star of the show when England won the under-17 World Cup, and surely a role in the Liverpool first team beckons next season.
One of Europe’s most exciting young forwards, the deadly attacker may even be able to give Roberto Firmino a run for his money – with his goalscoring appetite undeniable.
Liverpool are lacking depths up-front, and Brewster could be a great option.
