It was another dark day for Rangers this afternoon as they were swept aside by Celtic at Ibrox in a 5-1 humiliation by their biggest rivals, which has left supporters here in the pub absolutely distraught!
In a seriously forgettable afternoon in the Old Firm derby for Gers, Pedro Caixinha’s team were outclassed from start to finish by Celtic, who added insult to injury after a dominating title-charge in the league this campaign.
It showed the gulf of class between the two sides at present but there’s one man our Gers punters here in the bar singled out for praise after the loss.
The man in question? Kenny Miller who even at 37-years-old is the man that is leading the line with aplomb and scoring goals that are keeping Rangers in games.
Of course, his goal in the game this afternoon was far too little too late, but he was the player leading by example after a seriously poor showing from everyone else on the pitch.
So with that in mind, here’s a selection of tweets about the Gers forward following the defeat…
Got to feel for Kenny Miller. The only person in a blue jersey that looked like he was up for a battle today.
