3-4-3:The potential Chelsea XI come February 1st if transfer rumours are to be believed

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are loving life at the top of the Premier League, but they aren’t getting complacent…

Antonio Conte has led his side fantastically, but a few new additions certainly wouldn’t go amiss.

If anything, the Blues are overachieving – and if Conte wants to ensure Premier League supremacy this season, he certainly needs to bring in a few new faces.

It would appear as though that is his plan, given that Chelsea have been linked with a number of players over the last few weeks – leading many in the Transfer Tavern to expect a few big money signings in the coming weeks.

There are a few gaps in the Chelsea first team, and Conte could look to plug these between now and the end of the month.

With that said, is the the potential Chelsea XI come February 1st if transfer rumours are to be believed?

 GK – Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois is one of the Premier League’s best, and Antonio Conte must ensure that he stays at the Blues long-term.

He is a player that is impossible to replace.

 CB – Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta has been consistent wherever he has played, and his form at centre-back has been spectacular.

He is irreplaceable.

 CB – David Luiz

David Luiz has struggled at points this season, but for the most part, he has looked good.

He needs to ensure that mistakes don’t become a regular feature in his play again.

 CB – Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill is the Chelsea captain, and whilst Conte may look to sign a new central defender or bring Kurt Zouma in – he will, for now, remain the fold.

He needs to keep performing to stay there, though.

 LWB – Jonas Hector

Marcos Alonso has been good this year, but he has looked poor against the bigger sides.

Conte could look to bring in German defender Jonas Hector, as The Times have suggested.

Strong both defensively and offensively, Hector is the complete package.

 DM – Franck Kessie

Franck Kessie is another player that Chelsea are keen on.

The Guardian are reporting that Chelsea have had a move rejected, but the Blues could yet return for the midfielder.

An energetic, young, box-to-box midfielder – Kessie would add some energy to the Chelsea midfield.

 DM –  N’Golo Kante

N’Golo Kante will retain his place, and he has arguably been Chelsea’s best signing in years.

Pure defensive steel.

 RWB – Victor Moses

Victor Moses has been a star at Chelsea this season, and he is getting better every single week.

Antonio Conte has worked wonders.

 LW – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard has been up and down this season, but he is slowly getting back to his best form.

He is deadly on the left-hand side, and Chelsea must ensure that they keep him.

 ST – Fernando Llorente

With Diego Costa’s long-term Chelsea future still unclear, the Blues have been linked with a move for Swansea forward Fernando Llorente.

Whilst not a high-profile acquisition, Llorente would add some real steel and experience to the Chelsea attack.

 RW- Pedro

Pedro has been in incredible form this season, with the Spaniard regularly scoring and assisting this season.

He has kept Willian out of the side, deservedly.
