The summer transfer window was considered underwhelming by the majority of the Chelsea fans in the Tavern, with the signing of N’Golo Kante considered the only particularly impressive deal of the close-season.

This is something that they want to see change going forward, and if Calcio Mercato are to be believed – that could very well be the case.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that the Blues are lining up a €45 million offer for Fiorentina forward Federico Bernardeschi, in a move that would no doubt please the Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern.

A natural winger, Federico Bernardeschi would undoubtedly be a good fit at Chelsea – with Conte somewhat over-reliant on the likes of Eden Hazard and Pedro as of late.

The Chelsea fans think that he could be a star signing, and they reckon that THIS could be the potential new-look Chelsea front-line…

 RW – Federico Bernardeschi

Federico Bernardeschi is an Italian international, and since making his debut for Fiorentina in 2014 – he has quickly emerged as one of Serie A’s most exciting young talents.

A powerful, technical, quick wing wizard – Bernardeschi would be unstoppable and would connect exceedingly well with the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian in the Chelsea attack.

He has made 12 starts in the Italian top flight this season, and has scored 7 goals in the process – which would suggest that he offers far more than bursting runs down the wing.

Pedro or Willian would be unlucky not to play in his place, but he offers so much more going forward than either of them.

The impressive Chelsea forward is enjoying his best campaign yet with the Blues this season, and he has been a constant under Antonio Conte thus far.

He is scoring on a weekly basis, and appears to have shaken off the aggressive nature of his game that drew the ire of many of the fans in the Transfer Tavern in previous seasons.

He is quickly becoming Europe’s finest forward – and he will be deadly in this attack.

 RW – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard – undoubtedly one of Europe’s best players.

He, like Costa, has found a great run of form this season – and the duo have linked up fantastically en route to Chelsea’s reaching the pinnacle of the Premier League.

The Belgian offers silky dribbling and a real goal threat, much like Bernardeschi, and together – the duo would undoubtedly make Chelsea even more deadly.
