It was a very mixed bag for Manchester City during their game against Middlesbrough this afternoon, which eventually ended in a pulsating 2-2 draw at the Riverside.
The City fans here in the bar were hoping for a win to really consolidate third place in the table but it wasn’t to be for City, who were more than matched by plucky Middlesbrough throughout.
But really, it’s a poor result against a side that have been struggling at the bottom of the table for the entire season.
And the performance of one man in particular stood out for the City fans here in the bar and it was the return of Gabriel Jesus that got everyone talking.
He seems to have divided the fans here in the pub on the day and despite scoring the equaliser, there are many Citizens supporters that thought his performance before his strike just wasn’t good enough.
