The Gunners here in the Tavern are hopeful that their side can dispose of any unwanted players, as they look to give themselves the best possible chance of a top 4 finish.
Arsene Wenger miraculously found the ability to spend in the transfer window after bringing in Alexandre Lacazette for £52 million, due to the criticism he received for his lack of willingness to splash the cash in previous windows.
Yet, with all the money that was spent on just the one player during the summer months, it’s only gone to highlight their lack of strength in depth with many of their youngsters filling in for their lack of quality in reserve.
Of course, after having some of their stars on the receiving end of criticism for some of their performances this season, the position the Gunners find themselves in won’t do their chances of holding on to them any good.
One man in particular who’s slipped into the shadows at the Emirates is 28-year-old Theo Walcott, a long-term servant in the Arsenal ranks who’s become one of the more fringe players in recent times due to the overload in attacking areas.
Indeed, with Walcott seeking more minutes on the pitch he’s been exploring his possible destinations, and according to reports he’s been linked with a trip down memory lane to former side Southampton.
Nevertheless, due to the fact that one out of favor Gunners man is linked with a move away from the club, it’s hard to rule out another. So, here’s a look at TWO more players who may just follow Walcott out of the Emirates.
Alexis Sanchez

The 29-year-old winger has been the superstar in this Arsenal side since he joined the club back in 2014, providing moments of magic and offering a constant goal-scoring threat.
Having begun the latest campaign in a less threatening manner to the last, some fans questioned the forwards commitment to the club with many believing he had his eyes firmly set on a move away.
Very much looking like a flop this season, compared to the outstanding season he had of last with 30 goals and 19 assists.
However, after netting a brace against Crystal Palace in one of their more recent games, Arsenal fans have started to warm to the attacker believing he’s on his way back to his ferocious best.
Indeed, the excitement looks to be short-lived according to reports, as Arsene Wenger admits the future of the Chilean is uncertain after speculation of a move to leaders Manchester City.
Mesut Ozil

The German international has been one of Arsenal’s most exciting players over the past 4 seasons for the club, after displaying some outrageous assists as their play-maker in the final-third.
Similar to Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil was labelled as ‘lazy’ in performances towards the start of the season with him only turning up on the odd occasion.
After his 12 goals and 14 assists last season, he’s looking a long way from repeating these kind of stats in what is turning out to be a flop of a season for the German.
However, since brushing off those cobwebs he’s displayed some inspiring performances picking up goals and assists as the January transfer window approaches, some would say to force a move away from the Emirates.
Nevertheless, his future at Arsenal looks less than convincing as according to reports, Mesut Ozil has told Barcelona that he will snub Manchester United if they fulfill two conditions he’s provided.
Arsenal fans, thoughts?
