After a bit of a blip, Chelsea are back in form and should be considered title contenders, much to the relief of our Blues fans here in the Transfer Tavern.
They were worried that they would see another season similar to 2015/16 in that they came nowhere near the Premier League trophy, and finished well off the pace but certain tweaks in recent weeks have seen that worry subside.
Antonio Conte has decided to implement his three at the back system and it looks to have worked well with Eden Hazard getting more room further forward, and Victor Moses enjoying a renaissance.
That has all culminated in the 4-0 demolition of Manchester United on Sunday and so now the Blues look like a real force once again.
You have to credit the Italian boss for his tactical switch and squad management to turn things around, but our landlord reckons there’s TWO players out on loan he should be utilising more, here they are…
Tammy Abraham

Chelsea have a lot of exciting youth prospects but Tammy Abraham is arguably the best of the bunch.
The teenage striker has gone on loan to Bristol City and torn the Championship to shreds this season with his pace and finishing and, arguably, he could do similar in the Premier League.
Diego Costa is obviously ahead of him but he could certainly learn a great deal about being a world-class striker from the Spaniard first-hand.
Juan Cuadrado

The South American surely looks at the Chelsea formation and thinks, ‘I could play in that easily.’
Though he’s at Juventus and obviously enjoying it, Cuadrado would excel in the 3-4-3 formation that Antonio Conte is getting Chelsea to play in right now.
It relies on hard working wide players and that is exactly what Cuadrado is so don’t be surprised to see him back at Stamford Bridge in the future.
