The Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are expecting a few outgoings in January…
Whilst the January transfer window is often utilised as a means of improving a disappointing squad, Chelsea look set to use it for a very different reason.
The Blues have really impressed as of late, and Antonio Conte’s men are performing far above expectations – with a title challenge seemingly on the horizon.
Conte’s problem currently is that because his first team is playing so well, many of his squad players are simply not getting a chance. Nobody in the Chelsea first team deserves to be dropped – so certain players are simply missing out.
One such player is Cesc Fabregas, who has been touted with a loan move away in recent weeks – but he likely won’t be the only one.
With that said, these TWO Chelsea players could follow Fabregas out on loan in January….
Ruben Loftus-Cheek

This one will likely rile up a few of the Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern – but it just makes sense.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is simply not getting enough game time at Chelsea, and he is one of the few young Chelsea players that is yet to make a loan move away.
Sitting on the bench will never do him any good, and he seems to have fallen behind Nathaniel Chalobah in the pecking order under Conte.
He has years to develop still, but at present – he is not good enough and needs a loan.
Ola Aina

A very similar tale for Ola Aina.
The main difference with Aina is that it’s clear that Antonio Conte rates him very highly, and so a loan move could be what he needs to really push himself past Victor Moses on the right-hand side of the Chelsea defence.
He is very young, and is destined for big things – but Moses and Azpilcueta are playing so well – leaving Aina with little access to the first team.
Like Loftus-Cheek, he needs game time – and a January loan move will provide that.
