The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern think that Antonio Conte has a lot of thinking to do during the international break…
It’s been a decent start to the season for the Blues, but a defeat against Man City on the eve of the break has left the fans in the pub in a terrible mood.
It was a shocking performance from the men that Antonio Conte selected, and so a few changes are to be expected when the players reconvene.
Significantly, figures that perhaps wouldn’t get a chance at Chelsea could represent their respective countries and prove their worth, whilst it’s also worth noting that a few of Chelsea’s disappointing players could get a chance to shine once again.
All in all, Antonio Conte will have a keen eye directed towards some of his men as he looks ahead to Chelsea’s next game.
With that said, these 2 Chelsea players have a point to prove during the international break…
Michy Batshuayi

It’s going to be a big few weeks for Michy Batshuayi.
An injury to Romelu Lukaku could give him a chance for the Belgian national team, and a good performance could see that spell in the first team carry on at Stamford Bridge – with Alvaro Morata also injured.
Antonio Conte has rarely trusted him thus far, but he may have little choice, particularly if he performs well during the international break. A poor performance could mean that Conte opts for Willian again, though.
Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill has had a torrid season so far, and his form desperately needs to turn around.
There have been signs over the last week or two that he’s getting back to his best, but that could all change with another bad performance for his country.
He’s under a lot of pressure, particularly given that he was named Chelsea captain at the start of the season, and so far he has buckled under it.
A good performance or two is needed, or Antonio Rudiger could take his place permanently.
