Chelsea look like a team who are on a mission to win the Premier League this season, and the Blues fans here in the Transfer Tavern haven’t stopped smiling for quite some time now.
Antonio Conte has assembled a squad full of immense talent, and has got them playing better than they have ever looked in the past few seasons under various different coaches.
However, when you have a squad which is so rich with ability, there are bound to be those players who don’t get the game time and see themselves as not important members of the team.
Our Blues fans over at the fruit machine have been discussing that a lot this week, and picking out a few players who might not be here come next season as they move on to salvage their career.
We agree, so with that thought, here are TWO Chelsea players who need to move on for the sake of their career…
Cesc Fabregas

Despite playing a bit part role this season and featuring in plenty of games, a player with the ability Fabregas has needs to be playing week in week out.
The Spaniard needs game time, and with the World Cup in Russia coming up next year, he will want to be playing 100% of the time to ensure he is on the plane with his Spanish comrades.
Cesc could well find himself on the move in the summer if things don’t improve between now and the end of the season.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Despite the call for young players to be given the chance at the club, is Loftus-Cheek ever really going to dislodge some of the talent Chelsea possess in midfield?
The answer is probably no, and the longer he hangs around, the more time in his career gets whittled away to nothing.
Along with Nathaniel Chalobah, the young midfielder might well seek a move in the summer away from Stamford Bridge as he looks to prove himself as a genuine top flight footballer.
