These 2 Chelsea wonderkids could genuinely become a future captain at the club

Chelsea are romping to the league title it seems this season under Antonio Conte, and the Blues fans here in the Tavern are looking delighted with their managers work so far.

Conte has managed to get his team playing some exciting football, and among the host of top quality international players he has, he is starting to give some of his young talent a chance.

Our Blues fans over by the dartboard have been discussing that young talent this week, and some have been asking the question around if any could go on to captain the club in the future, and follow in the footsteps of John Terry.

Our landlord thinks that some youngsters might well be able to do this, and we agree.

With this in mind, here are TWO Chelsea wonderkids who could be a future captain of the club…

Ola Aina

The defender is still only 20-years-old but seems to have been around a long time on the fringes of the Chelsea squad.

Aina has impressed Conte by all accounts, and next season could be a big year for the youngster.

He definitely has the potential though, and could well go a long way in his career with the Blues if he continues his development.

Dominic Solanke

It’s not often we see a striker as a captain of his team, but it can be done, and Solanke could well develop into that player for Chelsea.

Solanke is only 19, but is big and powerful, and has already been pressing for games and places on the bench under Conte.

The striker looks to have all the tools needed to be a top striker, and he should prosper at Stamford Bridge given the chance.
