Leeds United have been arguably worse off under the guidance of Paul Heckingbottom, as they’ve only managed to secure one win since the Englishman took over from Thomas Christiansen. Indeed, many of our local residents believe that the club need to conduct a major overhaul in the summer months, with plenty of departures expected.
The Leeds chief will look to bring in some additions of his own in the summer transfer window, which means that a number of players could be set for an exit at the end of the season. Pawel Cibicki
Pawel Cibicki has been less than convincing so far this season for Leeds United, as he continues to be left out of the side by Paul Heckingbottom.
Indeed, the attacker hasn’t appeared in the side since being brought on as a substitute against Hull City in January, as Samuel Saiz, Ezgjan Alioski and Kemar Roofe are all ahead of him in the pecking order.
Therefore, the 24-year-old has to prove his worth from here on in until the end of the season, as a couple of impressive performances could put him back in contention for a future at the club.
Caleb Ekuban
Caleb Ekuban was brought to the club in the summer months from Italian side Chievo Verona, but is still yet to impress at Elland Road after producing only one goal and one assist.
Indeed, the 23-year-old has featured in 14 of the Whites’ games so far this season, as a rotation player for large parts after failing to make the most of opportunities.
Therefore, the striker needs to start finding the back of the net in the club’s remaining fixtures, as Heckingbottom could look to cut his Leeds United career short at the end of the season.
