Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern will be hoping they can cap off an incredible season by ending up at Wembley in the FA Cup, but first, they have to get past West Brom.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to deliver the first piece of silverware under his tenure by getting to the FA Cup final in May, however, the next step to that holy grail is by beating West Brom. Liverpool haven’t won the much-celebrated cup since 2006, and the time now is as good as any for this formidable Liverpool team.
In the Premier League, our regulars have seen Klopp’s side simply blow teams away with their high energy pressing and counter-attacking game. Although they are prone to coming unstuck against teams they should be putting away easy.
Our landlord things that in the FA Cup against West Brom, Liverpool have a chance to really inject some freshness into the team and revitalise the players after the loss to Swansea on Monday night.
So, having said that, our landlord is on the same page and wants to see these two fringe players given their chance tonight…
Dominic Solanke

Amidst all the rumours flying around the bar over strikers and players possibly leaving, now is a good of a time as any to make Klopp stand up and see what he’s all about. The need for a backup striker to Roberto Firmino is high on the agenda if the Brazilian ever gets injured.
With the England man just waiting in the wings, turning up when he has the chance to will show Klopp that he is the man to start getting more first-team minutes.
Andy Robertson

After the Scottish left-back’s display against Man City, our regular Liverpool fans in the bar have been calling for Robertson to get a game every week. The pace, closing down and pure hunger he showed in that match does not mirror the amount of game-time he has got this season under Klopp.
If Klopp wants a player to show fight and passion, much like he does on the touchline, then Robertson is the man for the job and he will take the opportunity with both hands guaranteed.
