These 2 Liverpool wonderkids are surely destined to flop

Liverpool are flying in the Premier League this season and our resident Reds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are loving every minute.

Indeed, they can’t wait for every game to get underway so they can see the likes of Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino go about their attacking in incredibly rapid fashion.

Some of their results already this season have been nothing short of sensational with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal beaten on their own turf and Watford and Hull City completely battered at Anfield.

Truly, then, this is Jurgen Klopp’s idea of full-throttle football properly coming into effect but it is going to cause some issues for the younger players at the club.

Indeed, with the Reds playing so well and actually having a relatively young squad it’ll take something very special from the academy to break into the side.

Our landlord agrees and reckons because of that, these TWO will not make it for the Reds…

Ryan Kent

Ryan Kent is currently on loan with Barnsley in the Championship and has played a fair few times for them so far this season.

However, with just the one goal and one assist so far this season you feel he may need to up that output before getting near a Premier League side.

With the attack minded midfielders already at the club Kent has his work cut out and may have to move to the second tier permanently in the near future.

Jack Dunn

Dunn likes to play in behind the main striker and is currently on loan at League 2 club Morecambe.

He’s played a fair amount with two goals and an assist to his name but if he was at Premier League level he would surely be banging the goals in left, right and centre.

Liverpool’s attack is one of the best in the country and that looks set to leave Dunn by the wayside unfortunately for him.
