These 2 Liverpool wonderkids need to be fast-tracked nearer to the first-team – Agreed?

The Liverpool supporters here in the Transfer Tavern are desperately hoping that their team can secure a place in the top four this season and reignite a love affair with Champions League football next season.

The Reds have won the biggest prize in European football on five occasions and the supporters here in the Tavern are always bitterly disappointed when their team doesn’t compete in the competition.

A couple of Liverpool fans are sat in the Tavern enjoying a few pints and they are chewing the fat on all things Liverpool Football Club, with several topics of conversation on the agenda.

The supporters are chatting about the club’s academy and how pleased they are that Jurgen Klopp has put some faith in the academy lads, with both fans hopeful that more players can be introduced to the first-team in the coming months.

Our landlord looks at two players who should be moved closed to the first-team.

Ben Woodburn

Although the youngster has already announced his arrival on the first-team scene, the injury to Sadio Mane could be the perfect opportunity to hand the youngster some more first-team game time.

One Liverpool supporter is sat chilling here in the Tavern and he agrees that Woodburn should be given a bigger platform to shine, stating that he should be getting a chance with the current injuries to other squad members.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

The Liverpool defender is another one who has already burst onto the scene at Anfield but given his performances for the development squad there is no real reason why he shouldn’t be featuring a lot more.

A younger Liverpool supporter is having a coke in the Tavern whilst his old man enjoys a pint and he rates Alexander-Arnold, stating that he believes he could even oust Nathaniel Clyne in years to come.
