Our landlord has been very impressed with the progress that Manchester City’s academy has made since the arrival of the new training complex and it seems to be producing some great young talent.

With Guardiola at the helm it’s also very likely that younger players will be given more opportunities in the first team. Last season we saw Iheanacho make a massive impact, probably more so than Rashford, but as he’s not a young English player he didn’t get as much recognition for his performances as he deserved.

This season City haven’t had the most convincing or consistent of performances and so haven’t delved as much into their youth system as they may have liked too in the Premier League.

But the talent is there and it’s only a matter of years before some of them are worth mega bucks!

With that in mind, these 2 Man City young stars will be worth serious money in the years to come…

ALEIX GARCIA

The young Spanish midfielder has featured very sparsely for the first team in recent times but this kid has got talent.

A talented midfielder, Garcia is your typical Spanish technical attacker – drawing many parallels with compatriot David Silva in the heart of the midfield.

We all saw what happened recently when former City and Spanish youngster Denis Suarez completed his big move back to Barca via Villarreal – could Garcia do the same by heading back to Spain and La Liga one day for big money?

Only time will tell…

PATRICK ROBERTS

The Manchester City midfielder is on loan at Celtic and has been making quite the impression north of the border.

The fact he is still 20-years-old and, crucially, English really could add to his value.

A deadly attacker, Roberts offers pace, technical ability and attack prowess – he is an excellent option.

He has all the makings of a top Premier League attacker, and if Man City don’t want to use him – they could certainly sell him on for an impressive profit.
