Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made a sterling start to life in the English Premier League, with his side currently sitting pretty at the top of the table.
Some of the more cynical Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern had thought that the ex-Italy boss might take some time to get used to the demands of English football, after spending so long managing in his native country.
Chelsea have looked every bit like a side that could quite easily go onto win the title come May and their supporters here in the Tavern are mightily excited.
One Blues supporter is ordering a coffee following a heavy night on the ale last night and he thinks that Conte has been a breath of fresh air, stating that he believes the side could go on and win the league this season for definite.
Despite their quality start to the campaign, there have also been a couple of blemishes and Tavern writer Lee Clarke looks at two players who have let Chelsea down so far this season.
Gary Cahill

After John Terry picked up an injury earlier in the season it meant that David Luiz was thrust into the starting line-up and that seemed to make Cahill’s form go drastically downhill.
The England international has made some high profile gaffs in the Premier League so far during this season and if Chelsea are serious about winning the league they will need to ensure they are removed from his game.
One Chelsea fan is chatting to the landlord here in the Tavern and he thinks Cahill is alright as a player, but does concede that the club might need to sign a better central defender if the club returns to the Champions League.
Michy Batshuayi

The Belgian striker arrived at Stamford Bridge during the summer, supposedly to ease the burden of scoring goals on the influential Diego Costa.
The 23-year-old has played just 75 minutes of league football during this season and is another summer signing who just doesn’t look up to the demands of playing English football.
One Chelsea fan is stood having a cigarette in the Tavern’s smoking area and he thinks that a loan move to a lesser Premier League side would do him the world of good.
Chelsea fans, do you agree that these two have let you down this season? Has anyone let the club down this season? Let us know in the comments below!!!
