The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for their side to beat Everton on Sunday…
It’ll be a tough game for the Blues, with Everton impressing so far this season. The Toffees looked very good against Man City on Monday evening, and an excellent goal from Raheem Sterling was the only thing that stopped them from earning three valuable points.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have enjoyed a mixed start to the campaign – with a fantastic performance against Tottenham marred by an opening day shocker against Burnley.
All told, the game against Everton is shaping up to be a real contest between the two sides, with both eager to prove their worth at the top end of the Premier League table.
Antonio Conte shouldn’t take the Toffees for granted, and he must expect a tough game. As a result, he needs to make sure that he picks a very strong team – and there are a few players that simply must feature.
With that said, these 2 players simply must start for Chelsea against Everton later today…
Alvaro Morata

Alvaro Morata struggled against Tottenham on Sunday, but Antonio Conte must persist.
The only contribution that Michy Batshuayi made when he came on in place of the Spaniard was scoring an own goal, and so he doesn’t really deserve to feature from the start.
Instead, Morata should feature from the start and be given the chance to earn his stripes in blue.
He’ll lead the line for much of the campaign, so he needs to get involved from the start early on.
Andreas Christensen

With Gary Cahill still unavailable, a backup option will need to come in. Antonio Conte will need to pick between Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen – and he simply must go with the latter.
Rudiger looked a bit shaky against Tottenham, whilst Christensen looked solid. He is calm and relaxed at the back, and Chelsea will need that against the Toffees.
Rudiger started the first game of the season, and so Christensen deserves a chance this time around.
