These 2 wonderkids could emerge for Arsenal in the second half of the season

Arsenal have always had a bit of a habit of turning young players into superstars under manager Arsene Wenger, and the Gunners fans here in the Transfer Tavern hold that reputation in high esteem.

Over the years, Wenger has managed to sign young players like Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry, and Nicolas Anelka, and turn them into world beaters who command massive fees.

He has also brought through some top young talent, including the likes of Cesc Fabregas, who was signed as teenager from Barcelona, and more recently, Hector Bellerin.

The current crop of youngsters at Arsenal are expected to start breaking into the team over the next couple of seasons, where they will hope to follow in the footsteps of Alex Iwobi.

With that in mind, we have taken a look at TWO wonderkids who could emerge for Arsenal in the second half of the season…

Jeff Reine-Adelaide

The young French midfielder is already hot on the radar of Arsene Wenger, and has made some sporadic appearances this season.

He is an exciting talent to say the least, and looks to be next young player off the Arsenal production line.

He will be hoping Wenger puts even more faith in him between now and the end of the season as he looks to help his side secure a top four berth.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Another exciting 19-year-old prospect is midfielder Maitland-Niles, who has already been in and around the first team for the Gunners.

He is recognised as one of the standout talents in the second string at the Emirates, and looks like only being a matter of time before he makes his mark on the first team.

Arsene Wenger will be hoping Maitland-Niles fulfils his potential and goes on to be an Arsenal great.
