For all the reported incomings at Chelsea this summer, very little attention has been placed on who might be leaving the club this summer.

It must be said that last season was a terrible one for the majority of the player’s in Chelsea’s squad; and there are a number of players who could have been sold on the back of their performances alone.

On the flip side of that, there are also a host of Chelsea players that should be shipped out for their own good, regardless of if Chelsea want to retain them or not.

Either they are under appreciated or simply aren’t given the game time; in order to benefit themselves rather than the club; there are a few Chelsea players that would benefit from a move away from Stamford Bridge.

With that, here are THREE Chelsea players that would benefit from joining a new club….

Loic Remy

Loic Remy, despite all of his flaws, is an excellent front man.

Whenever he has been called upon with Chelsea he has done the business; and whilst normally that results in more game time – with Remy it has been quite the opposite.

Whenever he has played he has looked decent, frequently popping up with a cup goal or a last minute equaliser.

However, despite that – Remy has consistently found himself on the fringes of the first team. He could find himself fifth in the Chelsea strikers pecking order before the summer is out; and that isn’t enough for a player of his quality.

He could really do a job at mid table side or help a side struggling at the bottom of the table.  It would help them, but more importantly;  it would him him reinvigorate his career.

Asmir Begovic

Another player that doesn’t get the game time that he deserves; you cant really blame anyone for his lack of game time at Chelsea.

Whenever he has come in he has done well; but his issue is simply that one of the best goalkeepers in world football stands between him and a spot in the first team.

Simply due to the nature of Courtois, he will ALWAYS be first choice whilst he is at Chelsea; and as a result Asmir Begovic is resigned to a bench role.

He could play every week for 90% of the sides in England; and he should look to move down the table to find game time.

Juan Cuadrado

Juan Cuadrado’s time in England has been nothing short of an abject failure.

After being brought in for nearly £30 million, he failed to impress in his first 6 months in England, and was subsequently shifted out back to Italy on loan.

It is clear for all to see just how much better suited Cuadrado is to Italian football; lacking the stature and strength of a top Premier League attacker.

Despite Antonio Conte wanting to hold on to the Columbian man, his future is best suited to a country outside of England. He just isn’t suited to English football.
