Wolfsburg and Germany star Julien Draxler is the latest of Manchester United’s summer transfer targets, with the Express reporting the Red Devil’s have made a £25.5 million bid for the midfielder.
Draxler was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal last summer, but instead made the controversial switch to Wolfsburg from former side an Bundesliga rivals Schalke 04.
It is hard to believe the young Germany star is still only 22.
Draxler made his Bundesliga debut at only 17 years of age – becoming the fourth youngest player of all time to do so – and made his first international appearance just over a year later, impressing so much he was named in the Euro 2012 squad.
And it has only got better from there. Now with a World Cup winners medal to his name and over 200 top flight appearances under his belt, the attacking midfielder has become one of the most sought after in Europe.
If United are to be successful in their pursuit of the talented number 10, they would be accruing themselves one of Europe’s most eye catching and skilful creative midfielders. Henrik Mkhitaryan

Breel Embolo
Switzerland qualified for the knock-out stages of the European Championships for the first time in their history on Sunday as they held hosts France to a 0-0 draw with an impressive defensive display.
Embolo however has been their stand out attacker.
The youngster is positive with the ball at his feet and seems to have a nice habit of ‘making things happen’ in the final third.
Nemanja Matic
Out of sorts at Chelsea, and quickly falling out of the fan’s good books and down the midfield pecking order at the Bridge; Matic has had a tough season.
Once heavily criticised by Mourinho whilst at Chelsea, the Serbian certainly has quality in abundance however, with his size and technical ability allowing him to comfortably control the midfield. Re-united with Jose? Maybe so.
Andre Schurrle
Former Chelsea man Schurrle failed to make a real impact during his time at Stamford Bridge, however did show glimpses of his ability as he scored 14 goals across two seasons for the Blues.
While the stats read similarly for new side Wolfsburg – 13 goals in two seasons for the Bundesliga outfit – his performances have much improved and helped his side to their first ever Champions League quarter finals last season.
