Everton fans here in the Tavern are drinking to forget as they endure their worst start in recent times, as the relegation zone has become their home. 

Everything is going against the Merseyside team this season, currently sitting in 18th place in the relegation zone on goal difference. They’re in desperate need of an improvement, as the managerless side have lost their last 2 games under temporary caretaker manager, David Unsworth.

Halloween really did come early for the Merseyside outfit, as a horrific start has scared many.

However, things could be about to get a whole lot better as a number of well-established managers are in the running. One man in particular who has caught the limelight is Burnley manager Sean Dyche, as his impressive form with the Lancashire side has seen him become one of the favourites. This is a man who Everton have become very interested in as news outlet Sky Sports reported recently.

In desperate need of resolving the current situation, it is important that they are to act fast. After spending £150 million on players during the summer months with Ronald Koeman in charge, there poses an extra added attractiveness to the job with the quality players sure to prosper under the right management.

So here’s a look at 3 players that could prosper under the possible new manager Sean Dyche…

Michael Keane

The former Everton player was actually one of the signings made by Sean Dyche during his time at current club Burnley. Rating the player very highly, he loved managing the central defender and his attitude towards the game. Under the management of Dyche, Keane arguably enjoyed the form of his life as he broke into the England squad and then earned a move to the established Everton.

So for Dyche to take over at Everton, this would pose as a massive confidence boost for this man. Having looked out of sorts in a very poor Toffees side, the former Manchester United youngster could certainly do with it.

Kevin Mirallas

The Belgian has been on the outskirts of the team for the duration of the season so far, as he can count himself unlucky. Looking to prove a point, Unsworth gave the man a chance against Chelsea, in which he at least looked like a live wire for the Toffees. Utilizing his pace and skill, which caused a hostile environment at times for the Chelsea back line.

This man would only go on leaps and bounds with Dyche in charge. Typically playing with two wide men, Mirallas would be one of them. In previous matches, Koeman opted for no wingers, making their play really rather rigid.

Tom Davies

The Everton youngster has been one of the standout performers of 2017 for the club. Up and coming in the Premier League as he poses the keen attitude to learn and progress, which becomes ever so attractive for potential managers to work with. But the real thing that in our opinion will allow for the youngster to really step up under Dyche will be, the way he sets up his team and his comparability to Jeff Hendrick.

The style of play suits the way that the youngster plays, in a similar way that Dyche used to utilize Hendrick, a player who Dyche has grown to adore. Operating as a free roam midfielder who attacks but also tracks back, he can really benefit from this style with other players supporting him.
