Manchester City supporters can seldom agree on who their favourite player is with such a vast array of talents to chose from, but one thing they can all agree on is their love for Phil Foden.
The Stockport Iniesta has rapidly established himself as a firm fan-favourite in the past twelve months, and his reputation culminated when he slammed home his first senior goal for the club against Oxford United before knee sliding in front of the travelling contingent of supporters.
His masterclass performance that evening earned him praise of the highest esteem throughout the British media, with the Oxford manager even drawing parallels between the teenager and Andres Iniesta.
Despite his lack of first-team football this season, Foden was called up to Aidy Boothroyd’s England U21 squad for the very first time last week ahead of Euro 2019 qualifying fixtures against Andorra and Scotland.
And it seems that Foden has already settled into the squad with confidence as he posted a video clip via his Twitter page which documents him nutmegging his England teammate.
