The 27-year-old has dropped down the pecking order in the Arsenal side this season, as new signing Alexandre Lacazette stakes his claim as the Gunners’ leader at the point of the attack.
Having featured in over 20 games so far this season, nine of these have been from the bench as he takes up his new role of a back-up striker at the Emirates.
Therefore, with the possible addition of Aubameyang, the Englishman would be forced to leave the club with it proving unlikely for him to force a way into the side.
Besiktas look to be interested in bringing the forward to Turkey, according to a report from ESPN.
Olivier Giroud
The pretty Frenchman is another player that’s not been blessed with many starts in the side since the arrival of fellow countryman Lacazette, as the lone striker role is placed firmly into the hands of the latter.
Having made 14 of his appearances off the bench in all competitions this season, providing eight goals for his troubles isn’t bad going for the Arsenal target man.
However, with him already falling out of favour in the Arsenal ranks, the addition of new strikers would surely see him head for the exit as he hunts down regular first-team football.
With Arsenal stating they’re ready to include the Frenchman in a deal that would involve Aubameyang coming to the Emirates, it looks like his time is up in North London.
