The Toffees fans here in the Tavern will be looking for their side to strengthen their squad even further, as a 4-0 defeat last time out just goes to highlight that evident improvements are needed.
Everton had their most torrid start to a Premier League season in history this time out after seeing Ronald Koeman drive Goodison Park to despair. But after seeing the back of the Dutchman, and bringing in Sam Allardyce, things have gotten a whole lot better for the Toffees.
The former England manager has certainly made a name for himself during his short stint at Everton so far, as early-season relegation trouble now looks to be turned into a challenge for a European place.
Indeed, Allardyce has already looked to strengthen this Everton side after securing the services of Turkish striker Cenk Tosun for £27 million.
And, with more business to be done, it looks like Theo Walcott topped the Englishman’s list, as the Toffees wrapped up a deal for the pacey forward, much to the delight of our resident Evertonians.
The former England international brings the missing piece to this Everton side, with a burst of pace often going missing on too many occasions for the Toffees so far this season.

Steven N’Zonzi has been the shining light in Sevilla’s midfield this season, as one of the hottest defensive-midfielders right now, with his tackling ability and defensive instincts being second to none.
Indeed, the Frenchman has been at the top of the Toffees list for quite a while now in a side that are plagued with injuries and illnesses, as they look to sign the midfielder after months of interest.
But, after their defensive-woes so far this season, sitting the former Blackburn midfielder in-front of the defence is something that Sam Allardyce loves the sound of.
Alfie Mawson
The Swansea City defender has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League since joining from Barnsley.
Alfie Mawson has displayed some incredible abilities during his time at the Liberty, with his brute strength, pace, tackling and aerial ability making him out to be a thorn in many attacking sides this season.
As the Swans edge towards an inevitable relegation, the defender will be looking for a way back into Premier League life with Everton already interested in signing the 23-year-old.
Although, with Swansea wanting £50 million for the defender, a transfer request and relegation to the Championship would go a long way to reducing that price.
