Kovacic is a class act in his own right, and is one of the main assets for Croatia, sitting in the middle of the park along with Luka Modric and often dictating the way the game goes.
He is a player who feeds of passion and drive from the fans, and this is one thing he would get at Goodison Park, making him the ideal sort of signing for Koeman.
