Liverpool have been busy already this transfer season, with the likes of Sadio Mane and Loris Karius arriving, whilst departures include Martin Skrtel and youngster Jordon Ibe.
With a lot of the transfer window remaining there is still plenty of time for the Reds to bring in new recruits, and perhaps see a couple more leave, with the likes of Lucas Leiva linked with Newcastle.
One person we can expect to arrive on Merseyside soon is Georgino Wijnaldum after it was reported on Thursday that Liverpool and Newcastle have agreed a £25m fee.
Klopp has got plenty of depth in his squad, especially in midfield, with him likely to have a difficult (yet welcomed) headache when it comes to selection next season.
In an attempt to give Jurgen a helping hand, here is Liverpool’s dream midfield 5 next season, as compiled by the drunken punters propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern.
(Formation: 4-5-1)
Emre Can (CDM)

Emre Can was indispensable for the Reds last season, making 49 appearances in total, as well as bagging 2 goals.
The German would sit in his best suited position in this dream midfield, playing just in front of the back four sweeping any danger away.
Composed in possession, physically strong and exceptionally versatile Can makes the perfect anchor for what is an incredibly attacking midfield.
Georginio Wijnaldum (CM)

Though usually a more attacking player because of Liverpool’s talented array of attacking midfielders ,Wijnaldum would have to drop back from where the Toon Army fans were used to seeing him last year.
Playing further forward than the aforementioned German, the 25-year old would be playing in a similar position to that he has played internationally for Holland.
Covered by Can, he would likely still receive license to go forward.
Roberto Firmino (RM)

This Brazilian super star’s name is likely to be one of the first names on the team sheet next season. Klopp will be able to fit him in a number of positions, with 24-year old able to play in central attack, upfront and as a winger.
In this formation, because of the quality in depth of the club’s squad, the silky trickster would be pushed out wide to use his speed, close control and vision to beat the opposition and feed the strikers.
With 11 goals in his first season with the Reds, we can expect to see even more next season as he grows into the English game.
Sadio Mane (LM)

The most expensive African player in history, £34m rated Mane would be deployed on the left in this dream midfield.
25 goals over the last two seasons on the South Coast, the Senegalese will feature heavily in Klopp’s plans in the upcoming campaign.
Being fed by the likes of Can and Wijnaldum, you can expect to see Mane add to his 6 assists from last season.
Philippe Coutinho (CAM)

Arguably Klopp’s best player, Philippe Coutinho would be placed just behind the striker, looking to pick up the ball from Mane and compatriot Firmino out wide.
You can count on the former Inter Milan man to rack up a significant amount of assists next term, known for his dribbling ability, pace and agility, he will surely leave his opponents in his wake.
Making his first pre-season appearance last Sunday away to Wigan Athletic, the Brazilian hit the woodwork twice and was said to have struck up a positive understanding with new boy Mane already.
What do you think Liverpool fans?! Who would make your midfield? Would you play 5 in midfield? And what would you do with the likes of Lallana, Milner and Henderson? Let us know in the comments below!
