Liverpool fans here in the Tavern are hoping their side can secure the Champions League trophy, as they continue to assert their dominance on the European stage.

The Reds have been formidable in the current campaign as they continue to defeat any side that stands in their way, with Champions League glory now firmly in their sights as they’re into the semi-finals. Although, manager Jurgen Klopp has struggled to include some of the club’s youngsters in the side so far this season, as transfer window business has worked wonders for Liverpool.

However, there may be plenty of opportunities to do so next season as a couple of the club’s youth players are beginning to shine, with Klopp possibly keen on including them in the first-team after witnessing Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s rise to stardom. Indeed, our local Liverpudlians are extremely excited about the prospect of seeing more youngsters, as many are hoping that another future star will be uncovered.

Nevertheless, this time next year, you’ll know about these TWO Liverpool youngsters…

Rhian Brewster

The 18-year-old is currently suffering from an ankle injury but was sensational prior to this, as he fired the England Under-17s to World Cup glory and even managed to secure the golden boot.

Indeed, Rhian Brewster has been prolific for the Reds’ Under-23 side in the current campaign as he finds himself playing way above his age group, but has still managed to bag himself six goals and seven assists.

So, Jurgen Klopp may look to include him in the first-team after enjoying the best season in his career thus far, as Dominic Solanke’s place may be under threat when the youngster returns from injury.

Ryan Kent

Ryan Kent has struggled to break into the first-team squad at Anfield as he’s spent the current campaign on loan at SC Freiburg and now Bristol City, but many of our local Liverpudlians want to see him stay at the club next season.

Indeed, the 21-year-old has been superb since moving on loan to Bristol City back in the January transfer window, as he’s provided two assists for his teammates in the Robins’ quest for promotion to the Premier League.

Therefore, with Kent impressing during his time at Ashton Gate after delivering a number of accomplished performances, perhaps Klopp should look to give him a run in the first-team next season to see how he fares.
