Timo Werner has been linked (SPORT via Sport Witness) with Liverpool for the past few months.
There are plenty of reasons why the Reds would want to sign the RB Leipzig forward, but the main reason is that he is absolutely prolific in front of goal. So far this campaign, he has bagged 27 goals in all competitions, as well as providing 12 assists – only Robert Lewandowski has struck more times in the Bundesliga than the Germany international.

The pandemic that is currently wreaking havoc across the planet has prevented a lot of things from happening, and it seems the Reds’ move for Werner could be one of them. According to Christian Falk of Bild, Jurgen Klopp wants to meet with the forward before making an approach, but he can’t do so due to the current situation.

Klopp is old fashioned I guess.. wants to do a face 2 face and ‘sit down’. Sounds like the Mafia.
