The Machester City fans in the Transfer Tavern have been giving their verdict on the latest update on their club’s pursuit of Jorginho. The Italian midfielder has been in talks with a move from Napoli to Manchester City for a while now, and the deal looks like it could finally be nearing a close, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

There’s no doubting that Jorginho will be a top player at Man City, the Italian midfielder has enjoyed a superb season with Napoli, helping Maurizio Sarri’s side chase Juventus right down to the wire in the race for the Scudetto this season. However, with a deal worth around £50 million on the horizon, the Citizens will finally be able to enjoy watching their man at The Etihad next season.
The time that the deal is taking has been a major cause for concern among the blue half of Manchester. The clubs supposedly entered talks for the player upon the end of the domestic season, yet more than a month later, Jorginhp is still a Napoli player. The fans have had to endure constant updates on the player with changes to the contract and the transfer fee that have supposedly held the deal up, but now they can celebrate as the deal finally nears completion.

Considering the lack of excitement from the City fans, you can understand how the longed out process over the signing has frustrated them over the last few weeks.
