Liverpool: Fans have their say on whether club should sign Todd Cantwell

Liverpool could be in line for a busy summer when the transfer window reopens, as the club is reportedly keen on a number of targets.

There has been significant speculation linking Timo Werner to the club but the Reds may look closer to home when searching for a replacement for Adam Lallana, who could leave at the end of the season.

One player reportedly on their radar is Norwich’s Todd Cantwell, who has enjoyed an excellent debut season in the Premier League, scoring six and assisting two goals in the league despite the Canaries’ struggles.

He may be far from the finished article but, at 21-years-old, he has the potential to develop into an even better player, and some fans are excited by that prospect becoming a reality under Jurgen Klopp’s tutelage.

Many supporters have been voicing their opinion on the player and there is a variety of views being espoused, with some having less faith that Cantwell is a player who can improve the squad.

I don’t hate it as a move. He’s young and clearly has some talent, so if Klopp wants him then I believe he thinks he can turn him into a world beater.
