Leeds United could be about to send one of their most exciting prospects out on loan this January as Thursday’s deadline edges closer.
According to Sky Sports News, they have revealed that Tom Pearce could be on the verge of completing a temporary switch to Scunthorpe United.

It is understood the 20-year-old is expected to join the League One outfit until the end of the season as they look to continue their fine form going.
Pearce has not had the best of season’s under Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds this season and has struggled to have the opportunity to impress.
Having featured heavily for Paul Heckingbottom in the Championship campaign last year, the full-back has made just two substitute appearances for the Argentine.

A loan deal could be a great thing for both Leeds and Pearce this January.
The 20-year-old needs to be playing regularly and getting the opportunity to do so at Scunthorpe could benefit his development.
The full-back is clearly an exciting prospect at Leeds and if he could put in a number of impressive performances for the League One outfit, he could start to feature for Bielsa on a regular basis.
