The Transfer Tavern opens its doors each and every day to many football fans from across the football pyramid and it gives the bar and cultured feel.
From Manchester United to Morecambe, Leeds to Luton and Bolton to Bristol Rovers, the Tavern offers a warm and welcome feel, to each and every punter who steps foot inside.
The Premier League fans who have congregated in the Tavern ahead of tonight’s Champions League game between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, are discussing noise volumes among fans inside top flight grounds which is making for an intriguing discussion.
One Arsenal fan is goading some of the Blues supporters in the Tavern, labelling their support fickle and only interested when they are winning games.
Our writer Lee Clarke decided to give us the FIVE set of fans he feels are the noisiest away supporters in the Premier League…….

Manchester United
Regardless of what you might think about Manchester United, their away supporters are simply incredible.
In selling out each and every game, including in Europe, they make immense noise and come up with unique singing material.
You could argue that over the years the Manchester-based club haven’t exactly been a difficult team to support, given their undoubted success in several competitions but nonetheless their fans are a cracking bunch at away games.
Away tickets get snapped up in no time and when they are on the television it is usually the United supporters than can be heard, rather than the home fans.
West Ham United
The East Londoners are a raucous bunch and enjoy the rivalries with their other London counterparts, travelling in numbers whenever they play away from home.
Even when the rather unpopular Sam Allardyce was in charge at Upton Park, that never stopped them travelling in their droves and singing their hearts out for their team.
The Hammers once took 5,500 to an FA Cup game at Championship side Nottingham Forest and never stopped singing as they were embarrassed 5-0.
The club song I’m forever blowing bubbles is a joy to behold when their supporters belt it out just before kick-off and they must be regarded as some of the best fans in the land.
Liverpool
Like Manchester United, Liverpool are a club steeped in history and tradition and their hardy supporters are no different.
Over the years they have travelled Europe in their hefty numbers and if you go anywhere in the world and you will be likely to find a Reds supporter.
Despite limited success in recent years on the pitch, that hasn’t stopped their supporters in the slightest and if anything, away tickets are more difficult to get nowadays.
The noise levels will always increase inside a stadium if one end is occupied by Liverpool fans, and they are among the noisiest in the division.
Arsenal
For a club that hasn’t won the Premier League title for 11 years, the Arsenal supporters are still in fine voice whenever they go on their travels to away games.
One of the bigger clubs in England’s capital, the Gunners have a contingent of supporters who can regularly be found departing for games all over Europe in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
If Arsenal fail to claim the Premier League title this season it will do little to help Arsene Wenger’s case of whether or not he is the right manager for the job anymore, but it is unlikely to deter the devoted Gunners away from away games.
Tottenham Hotspur
I don’t intend to make this all about the London-based clubs, but they just so happen to have fans that travel in droves and make plenty of noise.
Spurs are no exception and if they win the Premier League this season, it will be just the reward for season after season of disappointment under previous managers.
The North London-based outfit have a great repertoire of songs under their belts and can be regularly found in stadiums across the Premier League belting out their material.
In terms of major trophies won it is a long time since the Spurs faithful had much to shout about but they will be hoping that will change this year.
