Tottenham & Arsenal face battle for Moroccan

barrada.jpgIt’s not often that the North London rivals in the Football Transfer Tavern are united over football but news reported by talkSPORT that Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow have joined the two Premier League sides in the queue to sign Getafe star Abdelaziz Barrada has left both parties’ hopes of signing him dashed.

Tottenham are looking to sign another midfielder for next season while Arsenal are seeking to add steel to their midfield but his fine performances in La Liga have now attracted interest from further afield with Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow tracking his progress. Last season it was reported that Manchester City were also watching the Getafe star but their interest appears to have faded this term

The talented 23-year-old is reported to have a buy out clause set at £17 million and that could see off the Russians, who are struggling in their domestic league but both Premier League sides would have the resources require to sign the Morocco ace.

Where will Barrada end up this summer? Will he stay in La Liga? Rate this rumour below.
